Co-Head Coaches added for the 23-24 Vipers season

The Vegreville Vipers are pleased to announce that Oleksandr Ivliev and Andrie Savechenko will be taking the reigns as Co-Head Coaches for the 23-24 hockey season.


Oleksandr Ivliev has played his professional hockey in the KHL for the HC Donbas ,  once he finished his professional playing career, he became a goalie coach ,and the Vice president of the team as well, coaching the U-18, and U-20 National team in Ukraine winning championships along this jurney to become an assistant coach last season with the Vegreville Vipers, and now Co-Head coach. Andrie Savechenko played his professional hockey career playing for the CCCP in Russia, then to various European teams, and American teams to finally settling then over to finish off his career playing for Sokol Kyiv in Ukraine. He also was the head coach for the Ukrainian National teams U-18, and U-20 teams winning championships at those levels .

Both Oleksandr and Andrie trained together with the Donbass Donetsk team, then coached together for 2 seasons for the Donbas Donetsk team.
